Job Description
This role is for a Facilities BIM/CAD Engineer in Peoria, Arizona. You'll be instrumental in supporting the design, construction, and ongoing operation of facility infrastructure using VDC/BIM/CAD software. This position acts as the owner's representative for CAD deliverables, ensuring smooth coordination between various engineering teams, construction crews, equipment suppliers, and facility operations.
Your responsibilities will span the entire project lifecycle, from initial design coordination to managing as-built documentation. You'll be establishing the BIM/CAD database, supporting office space planning, and overseeing design standards. A key part of the job involves collaborating with design consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure BIM and CAD standards are consistently applied.
You will also be reviewing and coordinating multidisciplinary models and drawings, managing BIM execution plans, and supporting design reviews with 3D models. Performing clash detection and monitoring construction progress against approved models are also core duties. This role requires proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks, with at least three years of experience in BIM/VDC or related fields, ideally within semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environments.
