Job Description
The company is looking for a BIM Engineer to join their team in Cairo, Egypt. This role focuses on creating BIM models for complex infrastructure projects like bridges, tunnels, and civil structures. You'll be instrumental in developing 3D and 2D models for drawings, clash reporting, and presentations, ensuring they meet project standards and BIM requirements.
Your responsibilities will include coordinating models with other disciplines, preparing engineering drawings from the models, and ensuring Project Information Models are delivered according to project protocols. You'll also conduct clash detection, prepare models for constructability analysis, and collaborate closely with the lead technical engineer to ensure timely delivery of all BIM-related tasks.
To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering and 6-8 years of experience, with at least 4-5 years specifically using Revit. Expertise in parametric modeling, creating Revit families, and running clash detection is essential. Proficiency in Revit Structure, Dynamo, Rhino, Grasshopper, Navisworks, ACC, Revizto, and AutoCAD is required.
