Job Description
The company is looking for an experienced Lead Engineer in Instrumentation & Control to join their team in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. This role involves designing instrument and automation systems for pharmaceutical, life science, biotech, and specialty chemical projects.
You'll be responsible for detailed engineering activities, including working with DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems, as well as foundation fieldbus. The position also requires procurement support, reviewing vendor drawings, and ensuring instrument content for mechanical packages is accurate. Experience with control system commissioning, including FAT and SAT, is essential.
A strong understanding of instrument and control valve selection, Building Automation Systems (BAS), and Environmental Management Systems (EMS) is needed. You should also be well-versed in engineering codes, standards, and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements like 21 CFR Part 11. Proficiency in Smart Plant Instrumentation is a must.
