Job Description
The company is looking for a Quality Inspector to join their team in Abu Dhabi. This role involves monitoring and inspecting various facility installations to ensure they meet project specifications. You'll be checking everything from concrete structures and roads to cable trenches and foundations, making sure all civil construction works adhere to drawings, codes, and procedures.
Your responsibilities will include quality control inspections for concrete, earthworks, building architecture, and structural steel. You'll also inspect foundations for heavy equipment, monitor excavation and backfilling, and witness field tests for soil and concrete. A key part of the job is ensuring the proper protection of concrete and verifying the alignment and elevation of structures using surveying equipment.
To be successful in this role, you'll need a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering and relevant experience as a Civil QC Inspector, ideally within the oil & gas or petrochemical industry. Previous experience working with major EPC contractors or their subcontractors is also essential.
