Job Description
The company is looking for a Civil Quality Inspector to join their Infrastructure & Capital Projects team in Bickleton, Washington. This role involves ensuring that civil construction activities, from earthworks to structural installations, meet all project specifications and quality standards. You'll be responsible for conducting inspections, verifying materials, witnessing tests, and maintaining detailed records.
Your day-to-day will include reviewing drawings and specifications, documenting any non-conformances, and coordinating with various teams to resolve quality issues. You'll also play a part in promoting a culture of continuous improvement on the project site, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company requirements. This is an onsite role, working directly with clients and partners.
To be successful, you'll need a background in civil engineering or construction management, with 3-7 years of experience in civil construction quality inspection. Familiarity with concrete, earthwork, and utility installation quality requirements is essential, along with a strong understanding of relevant construction standards and the ability to interpret technical documents.
