This role involves being on-site to perform special inspections for concrete, rebar, and placement, ensuring compliance with building codes. You'll act as a key representative of the firm, collaborating with project teams and design engineers. Your responsibilities will include inspecting reinforcement, reviewing concrete placement, and coordinating with the office on design issues. You'll also be reviewing construction documents and shop drawings, and providing detailed written field reports. A Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field and at least three years of recent inspection experience, particularly with rebar and concrete, are required. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical judgment, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Proficiency in MS Word, Adobe/Bluebeam, and Procore is also necessary.
