Job Description
The company is looking for an Architectural Inspector in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role involves ensuring that all architectural aspects of a project adhere to inspection plans, drawings, codes, and specifications. You'll be responsible for monitoring contractor compliance with quality control plans and reviewing shop drawings to identify and rectify potential issues.
Your day-to-day will include liaising with senior engineers and managers, providing guidance, and monitoring variations to mitigate time and cost impacts. You will also be involved in expediting approvals and submissions from contractors and relevant authorities, and maintaining detailed site records, including daily diaries and progress photography.
This position requires a keen eye for detail to perform site inspections of architectural works, ensuring compliance with design requirements and specifications. You will also conduct and evaluate tests for architectural finishes and building components, and issue NCRs when necessary, assisting in corrective actions.
