Job Description
This role involves inspecting various concrete structures like bridges, retaining walls, and culverts to ensure they meet approved plans and construction standards. You'll review shop drawings, conduct field inspections, and collaborate with engineers and clients on constructability. The position requires attending site meetings, documenting progress, and staying updated on industry developments. This is an onsite role with potential for day or night shifts.
The company is looking for someone with a degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Building Construction, or an Associate's degree with relevant experience. A strong background in structural inspection, along with EIT certification and experience with Caltrans and Metro standards, would be beneficial.
