Job Description
The company is looking for a Structural Inspector in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. This role involves overseeing and inspecting structural construction work to ensure it meets contract specifications. You'll be responsible for various inspection activities, from demolition to new construction of elements like reservoirs, bridges, and tunnels.
Your day-to-day will include maintaining project files, writing daily reports, verifying materials, and coordinating with subconsultants for surveying and testing. You'll also play a part in safety practices and quality control, documenting any issues and helping to find solutions.
To be successful, you'll need a diploma or bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience as a structural inspector in the region. Strong skills in interpreting plans, performing engineering calculations, and using basic computer applications are essential. Good communication and reporting skills, along with an understanding of scheduling and safety, are also key.
