BIM Inspector
Job Description
The company is seeking a Mechanical Inspector to join their team for the annual Building Conditions Assessment Survey (BCAS) project. This role involves conducting visual inspections of mechanical systems in New York City public schools, primarily in Brooklyn and Queens. You'll be part of a four-person team, working outdoors for the majority of your day.
You will use company-provided iPads and proprietary software to document building conditions and generate daily reports. The work requires a good understanding of mechanical components like boilers and plumbing, along with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment is essential.
This is an opportunity to contribute to ensuring a safe and functional educational environment for students across the city. If you're a detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer looking for a hands-on role with a focus on building systems, this could be a great fit.
