The company is looking for an Engineer-Expeditor to join their team in Vadodara Taluka, Gujarat, India. This role involves overseeing structural fabrication projects, ensuring they align with structural drawings and general arrangements. You'll be responsible for managing vendors, expediting work, and ensuring all processes adhere to quality and safety standards, including L&T's Standard Operating Procedures. Key skills for this position include a strong understanding of welding techniques, weld quality, and weld symbols, as well as knowledge of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT). You should also be proficient in material handling, structural assembly, and resource mobilization. The ability to prepare detailed planning schedules (three-month, monthly, and weekly) and maintain daily progress reports using Excel is essential. This role requires flexibility to visit vendor sites for expediting and involves preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and understanding structural details, marking plans, and architectural drawings. You will also be responsible for providing necessary data for customer invoicing. If you have a solid background in structural fabrication and expediting, this could be a great opportunity for you.
