Job Description
This role is for a BIM Design Lead focusing on Electrical aspects in Dallas, Texas. The company is looking for someone to be the main technical expert for BIM design and production, especially for complex projects like data centers. You'll be responsible for setting modeling standards, ensuring quality, and guiding other BIM modelers.
You'll be creating and reviewing detailed 3D models using software like Revit and Navisworks, and leading coordination efforts to resolve clashes. This position involves collaborating with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate and constructible project deliverables, and driving improvements in BIM workflows and digital delivery processes.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, with at least five years of experience in BIM modeling. Strong skills in model coordination, clash detection, and problem-solving are essential, along with good communication and organizational abilities to manage multiple projects.
