This role is about actively shaping construction projects, not just overseeing them. You'll be the central point for all design and planning processes, from the initial concept right through to the construction site. It involves close collaboration with architecture, MEP, structural engineering, and execution teams to lay the groundwork for excellent projects. The focus is on optimizing designs, integrating technical aspects, and using value engineering to deliver efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable real estate developments. You'll be responsible for managing and coordinating all design and planning aspects of construction projects, acting as the interface between different disciplines. This includes quality assurance of planning documents, managing timelines within the planning phases, and optimizing costs, schedules, and quality through value engineering and lifecycle-oriented solutions. Effective stakeholder management and clear communication are key. The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in design coordination, technical project management, or construction project management. A strong understanding of construction processes and interdisciplinary planning is essential, along with knowledge of German building law and relevant regulations like HOAI and VOB. Experience coordinating MEP planning and a proven track record in value engineering are also important. Excellent German and English language skills are required.
