Job Description
The company is looking for a Field BIM Manager to join their team on a large-scale Data Center project in Santa Teresa, New Mexico, or Abilene, Texas, for the next 2-3 years. This role is for someone who wants to be directly involved in the construction process, using BIM and VDC tools to solve real-world challenges on site.
In this position, you'll work closely with superintendents, project engineers, and craft teams. Your main goal will be to ensure that models accurately reflect how work is installed, bridging the gap between design and construction. This involves leading constructability reviews, clash detection, and supporting installation sequencing and logistics.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction and proficiency with tools like Revit and Navisworks. Experience in construction-focused BIM/VDC, especially on large industrial projects, is highly valued. The ability to collaborate effectively with field leadership and craft is essential, as is a willingness to be on-site and adapt to fast-paced, site-driven environments.
