Job Description
This company is looking for a Senior CAD Drafter/BIM Modeler to join their team in San Jose, California. They are a well-established mechanical contractor with over 30 years of experience, known for delivering quality and innovative solutions.
In this role, you'll be responsible for translating engineer markups into accurate 2D drawings and 3D Revit models, maintaining BIM standards, and preparing drawing packages. You'll also provide BIM support and collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and project managers to ensure project documents are consistent and meet deadlines.
The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of drafting/modeling experience in HVAC, plumbing, or MEP construction, with strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam. Experience with Dynamo in a production environment is also a plus.
