Job Description
The company is looking for a BIM Modeller with a focus on electrical systems. This role involves creating detailed 3D electrical models in Revit MEP, covering everything from panels and transformers to lighting fixtures. You'll also be responsible for generating shop drawings, single-line diagrams, and material schedules directly from these models.
A key part of this position is ensuring everything fits together. You'll use Navisworks for clash detection, working to resolve any conflicts with other building systems like architecture, structure, and mechanical. You'll also participate in coordination meetings, collaborating with different engineering teams to maintain the integrity of the design and adhere to the project's BIM Execution Plan.
To be successful, you'll need a diploma or degree in electrical engineering and 2 to 5 years of practical experience in electrical BIM modeling and drawing production. Strong skills in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks are essential, with knowledge of Dynamo being an advantage.
