The company is looking for a Mechanical BIM Modeller to join their Building Services team in Melbourne or Sydney. This role is focused on delivering high-quality digital models and documentation, particularly for major data centre projects. You'll be working closely with a national digital delivery team, and the expectation is that you can work independently, take ownership of local digital delivery, and stay hands-on with modelling. Your day-to-day will involve producing Revit MEP drawings and models from design engineer markups, creating discipline models, and preparing detailed drawings and documentation. You'll be responsible for maintaining these models, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring compliance with standards like ISO 19650. The role also involves using tools for clash detection and coordination within a Common Data Environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in Building Services projects, with advanced proficiency in Revit. Experience with data centre projects and familiarity with computational design tools like Dynamo or Grasshopper would be beneficial. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently are key.
