Job Description
The company is looking for a VDC/BIM Modeler to join their team in Greer, South Carolina. This role involves creating and updating detailed 3D models using Autodesk Revit, focusing on electrical and/or MEP systems. You'll be responsible for producing coordinated shop drawings and installation drawings, ensuring they are buildable and align with project needs.
You'll work closely with project managers, engineers, and field teams, participating in coordination meetings and clash detection. Your input will be crucial in translating design intent and field feedback into accurate models, supporting prefabrication efforts and minimizing field conflicts.
The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience with Revit for MEP or electrical systems, understands construction detailing, and is familiar with BIM coordination tools like Navisworks. Strong attention to detail and collaboration skills are essential.
