Job Description
This role is for a Principal BIM Modeller with a strong background in electrical building services, based in Canberra, Australia. You'll be working within a multidisciplinary team on diverse projects across sectors like Defence, Healthcare, and major Infrastructure. Your main responsibility will be leading the management and coordination of BIM deliverables for electrical services, ensuring high-quality, data-rich models are produced.
You will collaborate closely with engineers and designers, facilitate BIM coordination meetings using your knowledge of ISO 19650, and mentor junior modellers. Experience with Revit is essential, and familiarity with Revizto, Navisworks, Dynamo, and Power BI would be beneficial. Australian Citizenship is preferred, and an existing Defence Security Clearance is highly regarded.
