This company is looking for a Sr. Steel/Stair Detailer to join their team in Bengaluru, India. You'll be focusing on designing and detailing miscellaneous steel egress systems, like stair towers, pan stairs, grating stairs, and railing systems for multifamily and commercial buildings. Your main task will be to ensure all stair and rail assemblies meet strict USA codes, including NAAMM, AISC, OSHA, and ADA. This involves modeling stairs, reviewing architectural specs to calculate dimensions, and generating detailed 2D shop drawings for fabricators. You'll also coordinate with structural modelers to ensure everything fits perfectly. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in miscellaneous steel detailing, particularly for the USA market, with a strong emphasis on stairs and railings. Proficiency in Tekla Structures, Advance Steel, or AutoCAD/SSD detailing packages is essential, along with a solid understanding of industry standards and excellent mathematical and spatial awareness skills.
