BIM Operator
Job Description
This company is looking for a BIM Operator to join their remote team. You'll be working on important design consulting and design-build projects, partnering with Solution Architects and Project Designers. Your main task will be creating security system installation drawings using Autodesk Revit, including floor plans, riser diagrams, and schedules.
You'll also be responsible for developing the information model, creating Revit families as needed, and producing project deliverables. This role involves coordinating with customers, adjusting models, and ensuring all elements are coordinated. You'll also perform clash detection and attend coordination workshops to help the project team.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit, familiarity with BIM standards like ISO 19650, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings. Experience with Revit Family Creation and understanding architectural and electrical layouts is important. Good organizational and communication skills are also key.
