Job Description
This company is looking for a Project Development Manager to join their team in Berlin, Germany. You'll be responsible for developing solar PV and battery storage projects from land acquisition to ready-to-build status. This involves managing permitting processes, coordinating with grid operators, and working with various internal and external stakeholders.
You will take the lead in managing the operational aspects of these projects in Germany, ensuring they are successfully developed from initiation to construction readiness. This includes overseeing budgets, timelines, and project outcomes, and fostering collaboration among different teams and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field and at least two years of experience in renewable energy project development in Germany, with a strong understanding of land and grid capacity acquisition, as well as planning and permitting. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential, along with fluent German and good English proficiency.
