Job Description
This company is looking for a Project Coordinator to join their team in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. You'll be supporting the Project Manager on industrial and EPC projects, focusing on electrical, civil, structural, and mechanical scopes. This role involves a lot of coordination, from managing project meetings and documentation like RFIs and submittals to ensuring project filing systems are up-to-date.
You'll be involved in preparing project deliverables, reviewing construction drawings, and assisting with workface planning. The job also includes maintaining schedule updates, identifying technical issues, and coordinating with subcontractors. You'll also support procurement efforts, cost tracking, and provide regular status updates. A key part of this role is also promoting a strong safety culture and assisting with quality assurance processes.
To be successful, you'll need a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline or an Engineering Technologist Diploma, along with at least 3 years of construction experience in EPC, industrial, or automotive environments. Proficiency in MS Office, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and BIM 360 is essential. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are also important for this collaborative role.
