Job Description
An Estimator / Quantity Surveyor is needed to join a prominent construction engineering firm in the Doha Metropolitan Area. This role involves thoroughly reviewing tender documents, drawings, and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates and rate build-ups for various construction works, including civil, infrastructure, structural, and MEP. You'll also be responsible for preparing tender pricing, commercial proposals, and handling post-award activities like valuations and variations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Qatar construction market and contractual practices, along with proficiency in estimation software like Candy or CCS. You should possess excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines effectively. A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction estimation or quantity surveying, with at least 5 years in the GCC/Qatar region, is required, along with a relevant Bachelor's degree.
