Job Description
This company is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to take the reins on a significant, complex project in Doha, Qatar. You'll be stepping into a role with considerable responsibility, overseeing all aspects of awarded work orders from a technical and financial standpoint. This is a chance to work in a dynamic, international setting on a project that's sure to make an impact.
Your day-to-day will involve managing a team of Works Managers, ensuring strict adherence to HSE and quality standards, and keeping a close eye on both technical and financial progress. You'll be the primary liaison with clients, representing the company in key meetings and driving negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers. This role requires a proactive approach to resource planning, tendering support, and guiding your team through all project phases, including design coordination and documentation.
To be successful, you'll need a BSc in Engineering, ideally Civil, with at least eight years of project management experience. Crucially, you should have managed projects valued at a minimum of 150 million QAR and possess a strong understanding of quality control, assurance, and local specifications. Professional fluency in English is essential.
