This role is for a Cost Manager specializing in building and industrial construction management. You'll be responsible for developing project budgets in collaboration with the design team and client representatives. This involves monitoring and creating cost estimates, reviewing and approving contractor invoices, and producing cost reports. You'll also prepare pre-contract cost estimates and project cash flows, from feasibility studies to detailed cost plans and audits. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field and at least five years of experience in cost management, both pre and post-contract. Experience with complex national and international industrial construction projects is preferred. You should have a strong understanding of measurement, cost estimation, construction technology, contracts, and construction law, with knowledge of DIN276 cost planning standards. Proficiency in MS Office and experience with AHO, HOAI, and VOB are essential. You'll need to be structured, independent, and proactive, with strong analytical skills and the ability to work meticulously under pressure. Good communication and teamwork skills are important, as is a diplomatic and professional demeanor. Experience with international execution models like EPCM and EPC is a plus, as is a willingness to travel. Excellent German and English language skills are required.
