This role is for a Cost Manager specializing in building and industrial construction management. You'll be responsible for developing project budgets in collaboration with the design team and client representatives. This includes monitoring and creating cost estimates, reviewing and approving monthly invoices from contractors, and preparing cost reports. You will also be involved in pre-contract cost estimations and project cash flows, from feasibility studies to detailed cost plans and audits. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field and at least five years of experience in cost management, both pre and post-contract. Experience with complex national and international industrial construction projects is preferred. Strong technical knowledge in areas like quantity surveying, cost estimation, construction technology, contracts, and building law is essential, along with familiarity with German cost planning standards (DIN276) and contract regulations (AHO, HOAI, VOB). Proficiency in MS Office and experience with international execution models like EPCM or EPC are also important.
