This role is for a Cost Manager specializing in building and industrial construction management. You'll be responsible for developing project budgets in collaboration with design teams and clients, and then meticulously tracking costs throughout the project lifecycle. This includes preparing cost estimates, reviewing contractor invoices, and generating regular cost reports. You will also be involved in pre-contract cost estimations and cash flow planning, from initial feasibility studies to detailed cost plans. A key part of the job is also conducting due diligence on cost estimates prepared by others, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards like DIN276. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field and at least five years of experience in cost management, with a strong background in complex industrial construction projects. Proficiency in MS Office, a structured and analytical approach, and excellent communication skills are essential.
