This role is for a Cost Manager specializing in building and industrial construction management. You'll be working with the design team and client representatives to develop and oversee project budgets. This involves creating cost estimates, monitoring expenses, and approving contractor payments, as well as preparing cost reports and cash flows from initial feasibility to detailed planning. You'll be responsible for pre- and post-contract cost management, ensuring projects stay within budget. The ideal candidate has a degree in a relevant field and at least five years of experience in cost management, particularly with complex national and international industrial construction projects. Strong technical knowledge of quantity surveying, cost estimation, construction technology, contracts, and building law is essential, along with familiarity with DIN276 cost planning standards. Proficiency in MS Office, structured and independent work habits, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills are key. Experience with AHO, HOAI, and VOB, as well as international execution models like EPCM and EPC, is beneficial.
