This role is all about making sure the structural steel for a major transit project gets where it needs to be, when it needs to be there. You'll be coordinating everything from procurement and fabrication to delivery and installation, keeping a close eye on thousands of tons of steel. It involves digging into project details, managing all the paperwork, and keeping everyone in the loop. You'll be checking shop drawings, tracking materials, and visiting fabrication sites to ensure everything is on schedule and up to standard. This is a hands-on role that requires a good understanding of construction drawings and specifications, and you'll need to be comfortable with occasional night and weekend work to keep things moving. If you have a background in structural steel fabrication or construction and are skilled at managing project details and communicating effectively, this could be a great fit.
