This role is for a Cost Manager focusing on building and industrial construction projects. You'll be responsible for developing project budgets in collaboration with the design team and client, monitoring and preparing cost estimates, and reviewing contractor invoices. You will also create and oversee cost reports, and prepare pre-contract cost estimates and project cash flows. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field and at least five years of experience in cost management, particularly with complex national and international industrial construction projects. Strong technical knowledge of quantity surveying, cost estimation, construction technology, contracts, and building law is essential. Familiarity with German cost planning standards (DIN276) and contract regulations (AHO, HOAI, VOB) is also required. You should be proficient in MS Office, work independently and proactively, and possess strong analytical and organizational skills. Excellent communication, teamwork, and a professional demeanor are important, as is a willingness to travel. Fluency in German and English is necessary.
