Job Description
The YMCA of the National Capital Region is looking for a HomeShare Project Lead in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. This role involves connecting seniors who need assistance with daily tasks to remain in their homes with newcomers and individuals at risk of homelessness.
You'll be responsible for outreach, interviewing potential participants, and facilitating successful shared living arrangements. This includes developing project plans, supporting a steering committee, and providing follow-up conflict resolution. You will also liaise with partners like Canada HomeShare and document project outcomes.
A background in social services or conflict resolution, along with project management experience, would be beneficial. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for working with diverse individuals and partners.
