Job Description
The company is looking for a Planning Engineer to join their site supervision team in Dubai. This role involves supporting the project team with all planning aspects, ensuring any program issues are identified and understood. You'll be reviewing contractor programs, providing feedback, and making recommendations to the Project Director and client.
Your responsibilities will include highlighting non-compliance issues for resolution, offering planning advice to the project team and stakeholders, and producing program assurance reports. You'll also be responsible for delivering program updates, contributing to project reports, and monitoring site progress to prepare monthly client reports. Additionally, you'll assess contractor claims and time extension eligibility.
To be successful in this role, you should have over 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years specifically on hospitality projects like 5-star hotels and resorts. A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field is required, along with strong proficiency in software like Primavera. Experience with architectural and engineering consultancies is preferred, as are keen analytical skills and effective communication.
