The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company is looking for a Schedule Engineer to join their team in Irvine, California. This role involves supporting the Schedule Manager with various project and group responsibilities, focusing on developing and managing project schedules from pursuit to detailed construction phases. You'll be working with Oracle Primavera software, with training provided, and will also get familiar with other scheduling platforms. Your day-to-day will include data entry, updating schedules with progress, preparing reports and graphics, and analyzing the impact of issues on the project timeline. This position also requires collecting scheduling metrics, performing technical reviews of schedule quality, and mining data from as-built schedules for historical insights. You may also be involved in estimating and cost loading schedule activities. If assigned to a project site, you'll attend meetings and walk the site to verify progress.
