This role is for an Assistant Preconstruction Manager focusing on electrical aspects of projects. You'll be working on the owner's side, diving into design and constructability options to help clients optimize their projects. Your input will be crucial from the early planning stages right through to construction, aiming to minimize risks and maximize value. You will review drawings and specifications, provide recommendations for value engineering and sequencing, and help develop construction management plans. Engaging with design teams, trade contractors, and consultants to find efficient work sequences will be a key part of your responsibilities. Familiarity with tools like Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and SketchUp will be beneficial. A background in electrical engineering or construction, with 2-5 years of experience in design, cost estimating, or construction, is needed.
