Job Description
This company is looking for a Construction Project Engineer to join their Energy business unit. You'll be working on-site, focusing on the day-to-day execution of construction projects, managing project controls, and coordinating field activities. This role is crucial for bridging communication between clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure projects meet their scope, cost, schedule, and quality goals.
You'll be responsible for understanding project plans and specifications, resolving any design or construction issues that arise, and managing requests for information (RFIs) and submittals. Your work will involve maintaining various project logs, supporting procurement, performing quality control checks, and assisting with schedule updates and cost forecasting. You'll also play a part in subcontractor management and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering, or equivalent experience, is required, along with at least seven years of field experience in construction management or design-build projects. Familiarity with project management software like Procore is a plus, as is the ability to read and interpret technical documents and a strong understanding of construction management principles.
If you're ready to make a tangible impact on significant projects, this could be the role for you.
