Job Description
This company is looking for an Architectural Project Manager to join their team in Calgary, Alberta. You'll be working on a range of significant multi-family, mixed-use, and commercial projects across Canada, with opportunities to contribute both locally and in other provinces. This is a chance to join a well-respected firm known for its strong portfolio and reputation.
The role involves managing projects from start to finish. You'll be reviewing and marking up Revit drawings, conducting site visits, and collaborating with contractors, subconsultants, and clients. Financial management, including budgets and deadlines, will be a key part of your responsibilities, along with supporting junior staff. While strong project management is essential, a background as a technologist, job captain, intern, or registered architect with experience in large multi-family projects would be ideal.
You should have at least 8 years of architectural experience, with 4+ years in a Project Lead or Architectural Project Manager role. Proficiency in Revit for drawing markup is required, along with a solid understanding of Canadian building codes and bylaws. Experience managing project financials, submittals, and permits is also necessary.
This is a great opportunity to work with a collaborative firm that values flexibility and work-life balance, offering a hybrid work model. You'll receive competitive compensation, benefits, and RRSP matching, along with ample room for professional growth and the chance to work on exciting projects.
