Job Description
This role is for a BIM Project Leader based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The company is looking for someone to guide and support BIM and CADD systems, ensuring high-quality design documentation for federal projects. You'll be overseeing BIM implementation on various projects, making sure deliverables meet contract requirements and industry standards.
Your main focus will be coordinating BIM and CADD work, collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers to produce precise drawings and models. You'll also be responsible for quality control, developing BIM execution plans, and enforcing standard practices. This includes providing technical design assistance, managing clash detection, and ensuring compliance with project-specific procedures and digital libraries.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Architecture, with at least 7 years of relevant experience including BIM. Proficiency with Autodesk software like Revit is essential, along with a strong understanding of design principles, codes, and regulations. You should be adept at client coordination and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
