Job Description
This role is for a Project Manager in Construction and Infrastructure, based in Munich, Germany. You'll be involved in significant, long-term projects for clients, ensuring smooth project execution and contributing to their success. Your responsibilities will include comprehensive project planning, coordination, budget, and schedule monitoring.
You will collaborate closely with various teams and stakeholders to help clients successfully and efficiently realize their major construction projects. You'll act as a key player in supporting project leadership, facilitating communication and information flow among project participants. This involves coordinating alignment processes, ensuring efficient reporting, and applying your expertise to optimize processes, quality assurance, risk reduction, and change management.
The ideal candidate has a degree in a relevant field such as Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture, with a technical or commercial focus. Some professional experience in construction project management is expected, along with an interest in planning, managing, and executing large-scale projects. Familiarity with relevant regulations like AHO, VOB, and HOAI, as well as industry-specific software (e.g., RIB iTWO, Primavera P6, MS Project), would be beneficial. Strong German and English communication skills are essential, as is a proactive, analytical, and team-oriented approach. Be prepared for approximately three days of travel per week.
