Job Description
This role is for a Quantity Surveyor focused on the pre-contract phase, joining a cost management team in Dubai. You'll be key in managing project costs from the early design stages, working closely with the design team to ensure budgets are met. This involves preparing cost estimates, taking off quantities from drawings and BIM models, and contributing to value engineering exercises.
You will also be responsible for identifying and reporting on cost risks and opportunities, and preparing reports for project stakeholders. The company is looking for someone with a strong understanding of construction contracts and local regulations, who can use digital tools for measurement and cost planning.
