Job Description
The company is looking for a BIM Specialist I to join their bridge practice team in the Greater Pittsburgh Region. This role involves independently developing and analyzing BIM models and design drawings for bridges and other transportation structures. You'll be interpreting engineering concepts, ensuring technical accuracy, and using advanced CAD technologies to create detailed 2D and 3D models.
Your responsibilities will include evaluating design criteria, resolving technical issues, and coordinating with engineers and multidisciplinary teams. You'll need to analyze complex components, identify potential conflicts, and propose solutions to ensure the integrity and constructability of designs. The company uses MicroStation and Microsoft Excel, and knowledge of Open Roads/Open Bridge Designer/Open Bridge Modeler and Revit is a plus.
