Job Description
This role is for a Structural BIM Specialist who will focus on 2D bridge plans using Microstation, with some 3D modeling involved. You'll be responsible for creating and maintaining the discipline model, ensuring it aligns with the project's Digital Delivery Plan and scope. This involves generating BIM elements, preparing detailed drawings, and producing discipline-specific documentation.
You'll need an advanced understanding of architectural/engineering documentation and how your work interacts with other discipline models. A key part of the job is accurately modeling BIM elements within the software environment and maintaining the discipline model's integrity. You'll also participate in design reviews and 3D coordination processes to ensure seamless integration with other project elements.
The company is looking for someone with at least 5 years of related industry experience and advanced skills in 3D design software and coordination tools. A strong understanding of engineering concepts and industry standards is essential, along with excellent communication and organizational skills.
