Job Description
The company is looking for a Senior BIM Specialist to join their team in Plano, Texas. This role involves developing detailed Revit models for curtain wall and façade systems, requiring a strong understanding of these systems, shop drawings, and fabrication processes. You'll also be responsible for creating and maintaining parametric BIM families for glazing systems.
You'll work closely with project managers, engineers, and field teams to address design and constructability challenges. Key responsibilities include performing material takeoffs, quantity tracking, model coordination, and clash detection using Autodesk Build. A solid ability to interpret architectural, structural, and construction documents is essential.
This position requires at least 3 years of hands-on Autodesk Revit experience, with mandatory experience in the glass, glazing, or curtain wall industry. A degree in a related field and strong problem-solving skills are also necessary.
