Job Description
This role is for a Mechanical Senior BIM Specialist in Omaha, Nebraska. The company is looking for someone to take ownership of the Mechanical Revit model, creating and maintaining BIM elements according to project specifications and the Digital Delivery Plan. You'll work with minimal direction from engineers, ensuring the model accurately reflects the design and integrates with other disciplines.
Your responsibilities will include producing detailed drawings, layouts, and diagrams using Revit, and maintaining the overall health and integrity of the Mechanical model. This involves managing project information, coordinates, views, and sheets, as well as producing discipline-specific documentation with precise annotations. You'll also be involved in design reviews and 3D coordination processes to ensure seamless integration with other project models.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of industry experience, with advanced skills in 3D design software like Revit and 3D coordination tools. A strong understanding of architectural and engineering concepts, industry standards, and document management infrastructure is essential. Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills are also key.
