Job Description
The company is looking for a BIM Specialist in New York, New York, United States. This role involves defining and documenting BIM workflows, coordinating digital tools for design consistency, and managing BIM models according to project standards. You'll collaborate with project teams and consultants, prepare LOD matrices and BIM management plans, and support the production of BIM deliverables.
You will also contribute to developing and implementing BIM standards, best practices, and tools, and will be involved in training sessions to promote their adoption. The position requires identifying productivity gains through customization and automation, and assisting in the documentation and dissemination of new knowledge.
The ideal candidate will have a professional degree in Architecture or a related field, with at least 4 years of experience in digital tools and processes for AEC projects, specifically using Revit for large-scale building projects. Strong attention to detail, the ability to create and coordinate complex BIM models, and excellent communication skills are essential. Proficiency in tools like Revit, BIM360, Dynamo, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and familiarity with scripting languages are required.
