Job Description
This role involves supporting senior surveyors in setting out and verifying engineering and railway projects. You'll be responsible for carrying out various surveying tasks, managing survey equipment, and contributing to project documentation and reporting. The company is looking for someone who can adhere to project plans, mentor trainee surveyors, and communicate effectively with team members and subcontractors.
You'll need a degree or diploma in surveying and at least two years of relevant experience, ideally on infrastructure projects. A good understanding of rail safety and WH&S legislation is important, as is the ability to read plans and work with software like 12d and Excel.
