Job Description
This role involves hands-on field surveying for infrastructure projects. You'll be responsible for conducting land surveys, performing geodetic calculations, and ensuring project survey requirements are met by interfacing with clients and contractors.
Your day-to-day will include checking setting-out and levels, verifying service locations, and preparing sketches to document your work. You'll also maintain survey records, measure completed work, and assist in creating 'as-built' drawings, all while adhering to site safety procedures.
To be successful, you'll need a Diploma or Associate degree in Civil Engineering or Land Surveying, with at least 7 years of experience in infrastructure. Proficiency with survey equipment like total stations, data collectors, GPS, and relevant CAD/survey software is essential.
