Job Description
The company is seeking a Land Surveyor to join their construction team in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. This role involves performing essential setting-out activities for various construction elements, including buildings, infrastructure, and roads. You'll be responsible for establishing and maintaining survey control points, verifying site conditions against approved drawings, and conducting topographical and as-built surveys.
You will also coordinate surveying needs with project engineers and subcontractors, identify and report any discrepancies found on site, and prepare detailed survey reports and records. Maintaining and calibrating survey equipment, along with adhering to project quality and safety standards, will be key aspects of this position.
To be successful, you'll need a diploma or bachelor's degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or Civil Engineering, with at least five years of relevant experience in construction or infrastructure projects. Proficiency with Total Station, GPS/GNSS, Auto Level, and digital levels is required, along with a good understanding of AutoCAD and surveying software. The ability to read various project drawings and strong communication and problem-solving skills are also essential.
