Job Description
The company is looking for a Registered Surveyor to join their team in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role involves performing essential survey computations for boundaries, subdivisions, and topographic mapping, as well as conducting deed research and handling utility locate requests. You'll also be responsible for preparing various survey plats and exhibits.
You'll be using CAD and survey software daily, collaborating with survey staff, designers, and local agencies. The company values clear communication and organization, and you'll have the opportunity to assist with scope and fee preparations.
To be successful in this role, you should have an Associate’s degree or equivalent, with at least six years of surveying experience. Registration as an Indiana Professional Surveyor (PS) is required, though they will consider Survey Interns (SI) working towards their PS. Proficiency in Civil3D or Open Roads survey software, along with MS Word and Excel, is essential. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel regionally are also necessary.
