Job Description
This role involves ensuring new construction projects are completed successfully by offering technical advice, client support, and quality survey services in a busy shipbuilding area. You'll be part of a growing team in Dalian, working on various significant vessel construction projects. This is a chance to collaborate with shipyards and owners, gaining international experience in a rapidly developing region.
You will support new construction projects, making sure they meet classification rules and legal requirements. This includes conducting surveys for vessels under construction and acting as a technical advisor to clients, offering practical solutions. You'll also help with project planning, assessing scope, timelines, and costs, while building strong client relationships through excellent service.
The company is looking for someone with a degree in a relevant field like Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering, and a good grasp of new vessel construction and surveys. Experience in shipbuilding or with a Classification Society is important, as is the ability to apply engineering knowledge to new technologies. Strong client focus, effective communication, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment are key.
